Arena 19 is a pretty big milestone to hit. As of now, it’s the first arena that does not unlock any new cards. That means that once you get to Dragon Spa, you have access to everything there is. Technically I guess you also have access to everything at Arena 18 too, but you can expect opponents to actually have everything more often in 19. For this list I’ll go through a few great decks for Arena 19, so let’s get right into it!
Standard Hog Rider

Cards:
- Giant Snowball (Evolution)
- Lumberjack (Evolution)
- Hog Rider
- Royal Delivery
- Ice Golem
- Archer Queen
- Earthquake
- Skeleton Army
Here we have one of the most “standard” decks I could think of for Arena 19. The win con here is Hog Rider, who only targets buildings and does large chunks of damage. By Arena 19, you’re no doubt familiar with Hog Rider. He’s a menace in every arena, including this one and beyond. While the typical Hog Rider deck focuses on playing low-cost cards to cast him as often as possible, this one is a little more traditional in how it plays. You’ll still want to play a bunch of Hog Riders, but you don’t have to spam as often. This deck also has better defense, in exchange for higher elixir cost.
The two evolutions for this deck are nice but they aren’t requirements for the deck to function. I like Giant Snowball since it helps clear the way for Hog Rider so he can make it to a tower. Then Lumberjack’s rage effect plus the more defensive capabilities of his evolution are great for helping Hog Rider as well. The most important cards here for this deck’s success are Ice Golem and Earthquake. Ice Golem distracts troops like P.E.K.K.A. and Mega Knight while also tanking for Hog Rider if needed. And since buildings are such an easy line of defense against Hog Rider, Earthquake is essential for clearing them out.
The rest of this deck is all about defending towers. Royal Recruits is good for swarms and distracting enemies, Archer Queen is fantastic DPS and flying defense, and Skeleton Army is a go-to pick for clearing out high-HP enemies. Just watch out for Logs and Arrows, or the popular new Furnace rework since they clear swarms instantly.
Lavaloon

Cards:
- Barbarians (Evolution)
- Zap (Evolution)
- Balloon
- Lava Hound
- Fireball
- Skeleton Dragons
- Mega Minion
- Electro Wizard
Lavaloon is a deck that’s entirely focused on one thing: three-crown victories. The deck features two key cards that make it all work: Lava Hound and Balloon. Lava Hound is a flying tank that targets buildings and splits into multiple small sprites after dying. Lava Hound’s super high HP makes it the perfect tank for your Balloon. Balloon also only targets buildings, but does far more damage. So Lava Hound goes ahead and Balloon comes in and takes out all their towers. It’s a perfect plan.
The rest of this deck is mostly flying support and a couple ground defenders. Barbarian evolution is a 50/50 pick for me. I think it is the best option since it can counter the widest range of troops, but an enemy Fireball reigns havoc on this whole deck since it leaves only Electro Wizard on the ground. Speaking of him, Electro Wizard is in this deck primarily to counter Inferno Tower and Inferno Dragon. Since those shut down Lava Hound, Electro Wizard is a great way to prevent instant losses.
In terms of cards you could easily replace, I’d say there are a few. Obviously you have to have Lava Hound and Balloon as well as multiple flying support troops, but the rest is subjective. Barbarians could be replaced with Knight or Valkyrie or another swarm. Skeleton Dragons could be replaced with another flying troop like Baby Dragon or Flying Machine. I wouldn’t replace Fireball or Mega Minion myself, but you could consider it if you wanted or have a higher-level card to swap with.
Mega Knight + Witch

This deck is kind of just a combination of a bunch of good cards. Evolved Mega Knight and Witch are two of my favorite evolutions right now, and they pair quite well together. Both are solid without their evolutions, but with them they’re unstoppable. Between the Mega Knight throwing enemies around and Witch’s constant healing, if you get them both on the battlefield at the same time they’re a wonderful combo.
The rest of this deck is just more good cards. Goblin Barrel is always fun to use since it does so much direct tower damage, especially if your opponent doesn’t have a cheap spell to counter it. Mini P.E.K.K.A. is really strong for countering tanks, and I like Tombstone for the same purpose. Princess kind of fits with the “log bait” theme of Goblin Barrel, as you can bait opponents into using their Log or small spell on her, then use Goblin Barrel during the opening before they get it back. Then we have Bats, which are just super cheap flying troops that you can’t go wrong with.
You can really replace any card here other than Mega Knight or Witch. I think the best candidates to replace are Bats, Princess, and Goblin Barrel. But if you do replace them, make sure not to leave any openings. Goblin Barrel is a major damage source, so you’ll probably want to replace it with something similar. Same for Princess and Bats for their respective roles.
